Gray of fall: OOTD + Weekly round up

Hi guys! These past two weeks have been filled with traveling, autumn shopping, birthdays, and some of my favorite posts on the blog. There’s a lot to catch up on, so let’s get into it!

ON THE BLOG

These past two weeks on the blog have been a bit slower then I would of liked, but some of my favorite posts to create have gone up! I managed to find one of the most gorgeous sweaters, and there is a little OOTD post on it which you can read here!

My love for Instagram keeps growing every month and I love coming up with new photos to post! Although I haven’t always been a expert (and I’m still not), I put together a little post on how I take my Instagram’s. I also talked about what I do when I can’t think of a photo to take, and where I turn to to find inspiration. Be sure to give it a read if you need some inspiration or want to improve your Instagram!

INSTAGRAM

The past two weeks on Instagram have been busy! I have been doing vlogtober on my youtube channel, and on day 5 I did a little mini Ulta haul. There’s a little sneak peak on my Instagram of some of the things I picked up for the autumn time, as well as my work set up for blogging that day! There’s nothing better than working on a cozy rug. There are also a few photos from my little hint of pink OOTD post. I am absolutely in love with this sweater, and it seems you guys on Instagram loved it too! This shot from the post might just be my favorite one.

My weekend trip to Philly was filled with good food, lots of laughs, and plenty of photo taking. The architecture of the city is absolutely beautiful, and when I saw these two buildings I just had to stop to take a photo! One of the places we visited was this beautiful marble building, and I just couldn’t resist taking a photo of from where I stand. If you ever get the chance, put Philly on your places to visit list!

PURCHASES

While in Philly I took a little trip to Zara, since we don’t have one where I live, and I picked up a few items for autumn. This blue button-down top is a great basic, but the adorable patch just adds a little fun to it. I’ve been needing a new purse for a while now, since my old one was about to break, and when I saw this one in the store it was exactly what I had been searching for! I love the versatility of it, as well as the added detail of the scarf.

The last two things I picked up were two different pair of pants. I find it’s nice to have a few alternatives to jeans in the fall and winter time. These pinstripe grey pants in this weeks OOTD are extremely comfortable and these black culottes are a simple basic that I know I’ll be getting a lot of wear out of!

PERSONAL

This past weekend I took a little trip to Philly for my brothers birthday and fell in love with the city! Everything from the architecture to the people was lovely. It happened to be on my family’s places to move list, and after visiting it it quickly moved to the top. I put together a little vlog of my trip for vlogtober, which you can watch by clicking here!

Yesterday was my 20th birthday and it still feels odd to me that I am no longer a teenager. I spent my day with my family and had a lovely, relaxed time. I’m excited for what my twenties have to bring and to share my journey through them with you!

OOTD

After picking up a few autumn pieces from Zara, I couldn’t help but wear a few of them on my trip. These pinstripe grey pants are absolutely perfect for the autumn time! This black H&M mock turtleneck is my go-to for patterned pants, and I can’t stop wearing these loafers from ASOS with every outfit. My new purse from Zara holds everything I need and more, and the scarf adds some color to my otherwise neutral outfit!

Hope you all are having a lovely week, and let me know what autumn posts you’d like to see next on the blog!
