Grid Moments : OOTD + Weekly Round-Up

What a week! It’s been filled with colder weather (yay!), some stressful times, and a few new found loves. New posts went up on the blog, new photos were posted to Instagram, and I share with you some new found gems I discovered these past few weeks. So let’s just jump right in to this weeks weekly roundup + OOTD!

This week has been a bit slow on the blog, but none the less there have been two new post! One of the things I find most interesting is to see a look into people in different professions day to day routine. I thought I would write up a post giving you a look into a day in the life of a blogger! Although I’m still fairly new to blogging, I give you a look at my day to day routine of working on my blog and creating new posts, as well as balancing being a full-time college student.

My favorite item to wear when fall rolls around is a turtleneck. Every year I add at least one new one to my wardrobe and this year was no different. A new OOTD post is on the blog featuring a gorgeous green turtleneck I bought recently. Make sure to give it a look and don’t forget to catch up on previous OOTD posts as well!

One of the favorite things to photograph is any city landscape. So it’s no surprise when out taking blog photos I took this snap of these gorgeous buildings. I always try to start my morning with a cup of coffee or tea, and having a little read. This photo of my workspace in my morning is one of my favorites. There’s nothing more motivating than sunshine and a hot drink to start the day!

I finally ordered my copy of Estee Lalonde’s book Bloom, and I’m so happy I did! It’s a great read, and I love how the book was put together. I posted a little look at my cozy day essentials, which including Bloom and an oversized sweater. There is also a snap from the latest OOTD post, so don’t forget to follow my Instagram to see sneak peeks of blog posts before they’re posted!

Beside Bloom, there have been quite a few things I’ve been loving these past few weeks. I just recently discovered H&M’s home section and their Christmas selection is beautiful! Some of my favorites include this jacquard-weave pillow cover and this snowflake duvet cover. I’ve also been loving reading articles on Pinterest all about tips to help with blogging! Pinterest has a wide variety of useful articles, and I’ve put together a board of blogging tips to help you find some of the best ones! You can follow the board here, and I’ll be updating weekly with new articles on everything from posts ideas to how to start a blog!

This past week has been filled with work but I’ve also been taking some time to myself. Since the semester is picking up I’ve been making sure to take an hour off each night to have some me time and read. It’s important to remind ourselves that it’s okay to take some time off. It was also a little bit of a stressful week with registering for classes, but I managed to get the ones I wanted! I’m excited to start learning how to code and developing websites.

It is finally that time of year when the winter coats can come out! This oversized one from H&M is one of my favorites for cold days since it feels like wearing a blanket. I always try to mix comfort with fashion, and this outfit is exactly that. This camel mock turtleneck from H&M is a recent purchase that I can’t stop wearing. I often have to remind myself that jeans aren’t the only pants I own, and I decided to wear these black pants from H&M instead. My go-to shoes for days where I’ll be doing a lot of walking are always these slip on sneakers from the Gap. They go with every outfit and are as comfortable as it gets. And this grid scarf from Old Navy is the finishing touch to keep me nice and warm.

And that’s it! Hope you enjoyed this weeks OOTD + weekly roundup and stay warm!
