Oversized Casual: OOTD + Weekly Round-Up

We are one week closer to December! Cold days are upon use and we are one week closer to the holiday time. I’ve been finishing off my semester and trying to stay warm on fall day out. With discovering a new brand this past week, here is this weeks OOTD + weekly round-up!

Three new posts went up on the blog in the past week! I shared some of my fashion photography tips with you on the blog. I talked about everything from how to get to know your camera better to being more comfortable in front of the camera! There is also a post up on my 5 wardrobe staples for autumn. Shopping for autumn can be overwhelming, but I always try to build my wardrobe first with staples. Let me know what your autumn wardrobe staples are!

I always enjoy sharing my experiences and what I’ve learned from them. I wrote up a post on the 5 mistakes I made when I first started blogging. Some things I picked up on rather quickly when I started blogging but there were a few things I wish I had known sooner. So whether you’re thinking of starting a blog, or are just curious, be sure to go give it a read!

Autumn is in full swing and I’ve been adding some of it to my Instagram. This shot of the road where I shot the photos for my fashion photography post looks so breathtaking with the changing leaves. I’ve added some fall colors to my room, and this blanket on my little workspace brightens up the room. There are of course some snaps from the autumn staples post, and I’ve been loving wearing some brighter lipsticks.

Walking around the city on chilly days is one of my favorite things to do, and I always find myself taking out my phone to take some architecture shots. And my mornings are spend now always with a hot drink and snuggled up scrolling through Pinterest! I also couldn’t help adding my little pooch into a photo for a blog post.

Black Friday was yesterday and although I try not to buy too much, I couldn’t help myself from making a few purchases. Since ASOS was having a sale, I bought two new items from Monki: this adorable eye motif beanie and this grey felt purse. I also stocked up on some items from Glossier, which is one of my favorite skincare brands! Their skin tint and face masks are amazing, and I’m excited to finally try their lipsticks! I also order a few glasses from Eye Buy Direct. Even though I don’t need glasses, I love them for accessories. They make great affordable prescription and no prescription glasses, so definitely give their website a browse and don’t forget to upload a photo to see what the glasses will look like on! All of these sales go on until Sunday, so happy shopping!

This past week was a holiday week, and it was nice to take some relaxing time off to spend with my family. Although we no longer do the whole “dressing up for holidays” since when we moved it just became the four of us, but it’s always nice to have a big home cooked meal and some board game time. The semester is slowly coming to an end, which means exams and deadlines are slowly creeping up. It also means that Christmas is just that much closer, and I am excited to start decorating. My plans for the holiday break are to hopefully move my blog over to WordPress, and give it a whole new look!

A few months ago I discovered the brand Monki and I loved the oversized, european vibe the brand has. After discovering that I could order the brand off of ASOS, I immediately bought some dresses I’d been eyeing for awhile. This high neck oversized green sweat dress is perfect for causal chilly days, and the olive color is a nice change from my neutral wardrobe. It’s sadly sold out on ASOS, but be sure to check out the other dresses they have! This dress for me just seemed to go perfectly with my Vans Old Skool and any dress that goes with a pair of sneakers is perfect to me.

Hope you enjoyed this weeks OOTD + weekly round-up!
