Christmas Traditions + OOTD

Merry Christmas Eve friends! December is quickly coming to an end and Christmas had slowly crept up on us. Before you start your holiday weekend I thought I would share with you a look at some of my Christmas traditions + a little OOTD!

Christmas has always been my favorite holiday growing up and it’s something I get from my Mom. I love the feeling of the season, and there is nothing better to me than getting someone the perfect gift. Once December begins the Christmas decorations start getting put out around the house. With everything from a Christmas village to nutcrackers lining the stairs, the downstairs of my parents house turns into a wonderland every year.

It’s a tradition that every year me and my mom bake cookies for both the family and to give away to friends. It’s something we’ve been doing since I was a little kid. It also has become to be a tradition (much due to procrastination and busy schedules) that me and my family get a tree the week before Christmas and start decorating it a few nights before. Since there isn’t a shortage of decorations in my house, we’ve had to start getting two trees each year. And today is also the 9 year anniversary of when this little fluff ball came into the family!

I am a sucker when it comes to Christmas sweaters, and this one that I found at Charming Charlie this year was too cute not to get. I always wear a Christmas sweater on Christmas Eve, so it’s safe to say this one is the one I’ll be wearing this year. Comfort is always key for me during the holidays, so my to-go is either a pair of leggings or this pair of jeggings. And although I usually would wear my vans, I’ll more than likely me wearing some fuzzy socks.

Hope you enjoyed this look at some of my Christmas traditions and OOTD. Enjoy your holiday weekend, and I hope it’s filled with lots of food and family time!
