Happy December guys! Although the temperature is dropping, there have been a few warmer days where I can wear something other than a sweater and jeans. Over the past year I’ve been trying to add a few more polished pieces in to my wardrobe for those times where I want to be a bit more put together. After doing a bit of shopping, I found some pieces that I love and that I can wear with a variety of other items in my wardrobe. So I thought I would show you some of them in this monochrome OOTD!
Whenever I’m not sure what to wear, I always stick to neutrals. They’re the easiest to pair and a monochrome look always looks good. This white striped Gap top is perfect for those warmer days in between the chilly ones and is a nice alternative to my usual sweater. I found this black cropped jacket at H&M on sale and it’s perfect for throwing on to dress up an outfit.
I’ve always loved the look of glasses but sadly since I have almost 20/20 vision, they’ve never been an option for me. However, when I discovered that EyebuyDirect has none prescriptions lenses I went on a bit of a glasses buying frenzy. They have a wide variety of frames at a variety of prices, and they even allow you to upload a photo to see what they will look like one you. If you’re like me and love the look of glasses then be sure to give them a browse!
Instead of wearing any black flats or boots, I couldn’t help but let my more causal side come out and wear my favorite white slip-on sneakers from the Gap. I find having a neutral pair of sneakers is great because it can go with pretty much any outfit. And no surprise I wore my favorite black high-waited jeans from the Gap as well.
Hope you enjoyed this monochrome OOTD, and let me know what your go-to color is for when you don’t know what to wear!
