Hello friends! I have been craving warmer weather recently and the fashion that comes along with it. Sadly the weather hasn’t been cooperating and it is now back to wearing sweaters and jackets. Although I usually like to add some color to my outfits, there are just some days where monochrome is my go-to. Here is a look at a monochrome outfit I’ve been wearing recently!
I always tend to forget that I own a bomber jacket. Although I usually grab for my oversized long coats when I’m getting dressed, I have recently found that bomber jackets are perfect for not only some warmth but also keeping an outfit a bit more causal. This black turtleneck from H&M is perfect for layering, and it goes with just about everything in my wardrobe. Something I’m trying to work on with the next season coming up is buying pieces that go with at least 2-3 different things in my wardrobe. I find I often buy items that aren’t as versatile as I would like, and I end up not wearing them as often as I hoped too. Let me know if you have this problem too!
Although I love a good pair of high-waised jeans, I also love a dressier option. These gray pants from Monki are high-waisted and although they give a more polished look, they are still just as comfortable for lounging around. I always have to have a cross-body bag with me whenever I’m out of the house. I prefer a smaller one that only holds my essentials, or else I usually bring way too much with me. To see what I usually carry with me be sure to give my A Look In A Bloggers Purse post a read!
Hope you enjoyed this monochrome OOTD post, and let me know if you personally prefer more neutral outfits or colorful ones!
