As always, here are my top favorite photos I posted on my Instagram this month:

What I’ve Been Loving

While in Denver this month I came across the store Uniqlo. Because I live in a relatively small city/town, we don’t get stores that other major cities do. After spending a bit too much time in there I was in love with almost everything and the style of the clothing. It’s a Japanese store, and everything is stylish, comfortable, and practical. I especially loved how most items, including dresses, had pockets. It’s safe to say this store is one of my new favorites, and you’ll be seeing more of it on my blog!

Another thing I’ve been loving this month is Denver! I’ve never been until this month, and at first I wasn’t sure I was going to like it. But after spending one day there I fell in love with it. I love the overall vibe of the city, and how you can drive 30 minutes to an hour to get to loads of outdoor activities. This city will definitely be on my top places to travel list for awhile. Have you ever been to Denver? If you have let me know what you thought of it!

As most of you may know from my Instagram, I was away on vacation for over 2 weeks in June! I left on the 5th and flew in to Denver. We then made our way up to Glacier National Park in Montana (stopping along the way of course), and then to Yellow National Park and Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming. Lastly we spent the last 5 days in Denver. It was a trip filled with lots of driving but it was all worth it because I got to see multiple different states and national parks! I usually go on trips with more city stops, but I’ve slowly been loving more nature trips.

Although June was a lot of traveling, it also gave me a lot of time to think due to long plane rides and car trips. I’ve always believed there comes a point where adulthood just hits you, and it doesn’t have to be when you’re 18. During this trip it really hit me that yes I am indeed an adult, and I will have to start thinking about the rest of my life and those little adult things soon since college is ending. Although I spent a lot of worrying about future jobs and expenses, I’ve decided to just take it one step at a time as each thing approaches. After all no one really knows what they are doing!

As I talked about in the things I love, I discovered the store Uniqlo while away. After browsing around the store I was instantly in love with almost everything, and couldn’t help picking up a few items. This orange shirt dress is one of the items I picked up and that I am in love with. I have never owned anything orange in my wardrobe before, and normally don’t go for too much color. But this shade was too beautiful to pass up, and I love the causal style of the dress. And it has pockets, which is a major plus for me.

These laced up sandals I also picked up recently from DSW. I love how they have a casual vibe because of the thick white bottoms, but still are a bit dressy with the laced up detail. They are extremely comfortable, and I can already tell I’ll have a hard time picking any other shoe to wear in the morning.

And that is it! I hope you enjoyed this monthly round up of June, and that you enjoy the rest of your summer!
