August is almost at the end which means that fall shopping has begun. I’ve recently been trying to add more color and patterns into my wardrobe, but nothing too bright or busy. I thought I would share with you an outfit that is perfect for the upcoming fall weather, and my thoughts on a popular online store: SheIn!
As I always want to be honest with you, the shirt was so kindly sent to me. However, all thoughts are my own as I wanted to give my take on a very popular online store. I’ve heard it mentioned so many times on social media that I thought I would give it a try, and share my honest opinions with you!
Overall the website was just like any online store. There are lots of options so I would recommend having something in mind (skirt, dress, etc.) before shopping. The thing that surprised me and that I loved was how there were reviews for each item. This made it easy to see what peoples thoughts were in regards to size and quality. I would highly recommend looking at reviews before purchasing anything as having other peoples opinions really makes shopping easier.
When picking an item I would also suggest looking through the reviews for ones with photos. People often post photos of them wearing the item which helps give you a better idea of what it looks like. Keep in mind that the price you are paying equals the quality you are getting. You can’t expect 100 dollar quality for a 15 dollar item. Also these items I would say are more for only one-two seasons, not for multiple years of wear.
Fall is coming, which if you’ve been reading my blog for awhile you will know it’s my favorite season. Although I have quite a lot of fall/winter clothes already, I always like to add a few new items each year. I’ve been on the hunt for more blouses since a lot of my shirts are more casual. And since I am a sucker for stripes this button down blouse seemed perfect. I was surprised at how flattering the shape of it was, and can already see myself layering it under a sweater.
These cropped jeans have been in my wardrobe for years now and I love wearing them with longer shirts. They’re from the Gap, which is where I get most of my pants. And I always tell myself I have enough shoes but when I saw this pair of grey oxfords at DSW I was in love. They are by Franco Sarto (my backless mules are also by him), and they go with almost every outfit.
And those are my thoughts on SheIn + a pre-fall OOTD! I was overall pleasantly surprised with the store, and the fall weather just made everything that much better! Have you ever shopped at SheIn? If so let me know what you thought!
