My Fall Beauty Essentials

My favorite season has finally come and with that brings fall fashion and beauty. I tend to wear more makeup during the colder months and love bringing out the fall colors and tones. I thought I would share with you my fall beauty essentials, everything from makeup to skincare!

Glossier Priming Moisturizer

This has become a staple in my makeup routine all year, but I thought I would include it because it saves my skin during fall. I have tried lots of moisturizers and my issue has always been that they leave my face too greasy and shiny after applying them. I do have dry skin but sometimes over the day my face does get shiny. This moisturizer doesn’t leave my face greasy after applying it but it does nourish my skin.

Glossier balm dotcom

This is something I use all year round, but especially when it starts getting colder out. I have tried countless lip balms and chapsticks and none of them work as well as the Glossier Balm DotCom. This is my favorite Glossier product and for good reason. It leaves my lips feeling nourished, and I’ll even use it on other parts of my skin/face that are a bit dry.

Lush Sleepy Hand & Body Lotion

Because I have dry skin in general, when fall starts I always keep lotion on my bedside table. This one from Lush is my favorite. It smells like lavender heaven, and it doesn’t leave too much of a greasy feeling which I love.

Bronze / Shimmery Brown EyeShadow

When fall comes around I always love to use more bronze/brown eyeshadow shades to my everyday makeup. I’m not the biggest lover of shades that are too warm tone, but luckily I’ve found my favorite shimmery brown shade to use. It’s from the Lorac Pro palette and it’s the shade is pewter. I love putting this all over my lid of an easy eye look.

NudeStix Eyebrow Pencil

I always love having my brows filled in, but especially for the fall and winter time. During this time of the year I tend to fill my brows in a bit more. Nothing to drastic, but I love the look of semi darker, more pronounced brows in the colder months. This brow pencil is the best one I’ve ever tried and I find it gives me the most natural look. The shade I use is ash brown.

Red / Berry Liquid Lipsticks & Lip Stains

I love wearing darker lip shades, especially reds and berry shades. Traditional lipsticks are not my favorite, so I usually will wear liquid lipsticks. My favorite brand for liquid lipsticks is NYX. They are not only affordable but they last a pretty decent amount of time throughout the day. The shades I wear the most are the NYX soft matte lip cream in Monte Carlo and Copenhagen, and the NYX Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick in Cherry Skies.

029 Deep Berry

For days where I want a more natural look I love wearing lip stains. My favorite ones are The Body Shop Lip & Cheek Stains. I have a blush shade that I love, but my favorite ones for fall are the 029 Deep Berry, and 003 Red Pomegranate. The best way I have found to apply them is to use the applicator, and then rub it into my lips with my fingers. If I want a darker look I will apply it a few more times.

Nail Polish: Muted, Darker Shades

I have been wearing nail polish since I was 13 years old and I love wearing darker, fall colors once summer comes to an end. My favorite shades are anything forest green, red, grey’s, muted purples, darker blues, and off white. My favorite brands for nail polish are Essence and Sally Hansen. Another thing I’ve been loving to do is wear no nail polish at all. I like to give my nails time to breath, and the beginning of a new season seemed like the perfect time to do so.

Loation is a must now! I have them in my bags and at my office. Love the NYX lipgloss! I have a few but hardly use them, because I don’t like the shades. Will have a look at some of the shades in your post! 😀😀

I have lotion everywhere I go too! And I’m sure the shades would look lovely on you. You’ll have to let me know if you try them! x

I have to get my hands on the Balm dot com, everyone raves about it. Also, that eyeshadow palette is beautiful. The bronzey shade looks great on you. Personally I feel warmer shades look better on me than cool tones because of my skintone. x

The Balm dotcom is honestly the best lip balm type product I have ever used! If you do try it you’ll have to let me know what you think. And thank you Pallavi! Warm shades look amazing on you x

This was such a great and well organized post on your fall essentials! You’ve given me so many ideas on how I can liven up my look for fall <3 I recently got NYX's Copenhagen so I'm going to not try and shy away from how deep it is. I haven't used grey nail polish is awhile either so I think I'll do that too lol
