Fall fashion is in full swing and that means coats & jackets, fall colors, layering, and so much more. My favorite thing to do is to put new pieces in my wardrobe together, and this outfit is no exception. I thought I would share with you possibly my favorite outfit I’ve worn yet, with the most gorgeous fall coat!
I also wanted to talk a bit about changing your mind, and why it’s okay to. This year I’ve done a lot of changing my mind. I’ve changed part of the direction I’m going in with college, even though I’m on my last year. I’ve changed what I want to do with my life career wise, and so much more. It can be scary to change your mind, especially with more serious life decisions. But the funny thing is it’s 100% okay to change your mind, and you should in life.
This outfit is going to be something I will be wearing over and over again for the next few months. The item that finishes off this whole outfit is this coat from SheIn. I was so kindly given the opportunity to be sent this coat, but once I put it on I was in love. The item that was lacking in my closet was lighter jackets and coats for fall. I love the black and white pattern and how since it is minimal it will go with everything in my wardrobe. You can find the coat here, and it’s currently on sale! Also you can read all about my thoughts on SheIn in this blog post.
I paired the jacket with this long sleeve blouse from Uniqlo. I love their blouses because they fit well and wash amazingly. This green color isn’t something I have in my wardrobe, so I’m excited to add a bit more of it in the future. My favorite black wrap skirt is from WhoWhatWear at Target, and my purse is from H&M. I also managed to fix my favorite pair of glasses from EyeBuyDirect, so prepare to see them more this year!
Life is all about change. And that can be extremely scary, especially when you’re the one creating the change. The one thing I always remind myself is that the only way you grow is through change and experiences. If everything stayed the same and you never changed your mind, you wouldn’t grow as a person. This year I decided to drop one of the certificate programs I was doing in college, which meant dropping quiet a few classes as well. It was scary because I’m now doing it not in a college setting, since I felt I would learn it better. I was unsure at first, but I realized that the change would be good in the long run.
There also is no rule saying you can never change your mind. Don’t like your career path? Change it. Don’t like where you live? Change it. I was always the kid changing my mind when it came to simple things like my style or what sport or hobby I wanted to do. It use to be that to people it seemed like I could never stick to one thing, but I like to think of it now as that I was trying it all to see what I like. Don’t let anyone stop you from changing your mind, just trust your gut. After all, sometimes you have to give up one thing in order for something better to come along.
And that is one of my favorite fall outfits with the perfect fall coat + a look at my thoughts on changing your mind! Let me know how you handle/feel about changing your mind.
