It’s hard for me to wrap my head around the fact that September is over, since it feels like just yesterday I was writing my round up for August. September was a fairly normal month, with fall themed posts and new discoveries of things I’ve been enjoying. So here is a look at the month of September + a peek at some exciting things coming next month!
On The Blog
I’ve started adding a few fall related posts to my blog this past month, and I’m excited for more to come!
To give any of them a listen just give them a click!
This month I have finally had the time to do more reading. As some of you may know I am a complete and utter bookworm. I have loved reading ever since I was a child. So these past 3 weeks I’ve read 5 books which I loved. My next post will be a fall reading recommendations, so be on the lookout next Wednesday! I also hope to be doing these types of posts one for every season.
I’ve also somehow have got into the routine of watching van life videos on Youtube. I find it so interesting that people just decided to take old vans and make them their home. My favorite channel to watch them is Dylan Magaster. He has many interviews and tours of all different types of people’s vans. Another thing that I’ve enjoyed this month is the IKEA Ideas blog on their website. It’s where I go for most of my decor inspiration.
For me personally this month flew by. Between college, blogging, work, and life in general I was busy most of the time. Nothing too drastic happened or changed this month, but for me September is really the build up to October. October is the big month in my family because quite a lot of birthdays happen. I’ll be turning 21 in October (I still can’t believe it), and my brothers birthday is 4 days before mine. So September was spent planning for a little trip away, which I’m already counting down the days. I’ll be doing a little photo travel dairy on my blog of the trip next month, so be on the lookout in the middle of the month!
I found these patterned pants at the bottom of my drawer this month and wondered why I hadn’t worn them this season. This pair of pants has been in my wardrobe for years, and I got them at the Gap for $5! They were such a great buy and something I’ll be wearing more of now that I remember them. This basic red sweater is from H&M, and I love how simple it is. I got it last year, but I linked some similar ones down below. And of course I had to wear these mules from Franco Sarto that I honestly wear a bit too much.
And that is round up of September! Hope you enjoyed, and I hope your excited for the next month to come.
