We are more than half way through fall and I’ve already determined some of the things I cannot live without. I love changing what I use for beauty, fashion, and lifestyle each season, and I’ve gone back to some old favorites. So I thought I would put together a Fall Edit post, filled with my favorite items for fall in beauty, fashion, and lifestyle!
Glosser Skin Tint: I usually like to wear foundation more when it gets colder out, but this year I’ve loved doing the opposite. If I’m not wearing foundation I’m wearing the Glossier Skin Tint in light, which is most days during fall. What I love about this product is it’s my skin but better. It evens out my skin but still lets it show underneath. I also always forget I’m wearing it when I have it on. Instead of applying it with my fingers I like to use the perfecting skin brush from EcoTools.
Glossier Balm dotcom: This is a must have of mine all year round, but especially during fall. I keep this one on my bedside table so I can use it when I wake up, and right before going to bed. It saves my dry lips during the cooler weather that’s forever changing.
ELF Matte Lip Color: This red matte lip color in Cranberry has been in my makeup collection for a few years, but only this fall have I fallen in love with it. It’s the perfect shade of red and it applies like a dream. This is actually the lip color I wore it my last positivity project post, which a lot of people loved the lipstick on Instagram.
ELF Jumbo Lip Gloss Stick : This red lip gloss stick in Movie Star is perfect for a quick everyday red, and that’s why I love it. It gives a sheer red tint but it feels like a lip balm. I love using this for days where I want some color but don’t want the maintenance of lipstick throughout the day.
Glossier Generation G in Jam: When picking a color to get from Glossier I decided to take a chance last year and picked Jam. It’s this deep berry magenta color that is unlike any shade I own. I love that you can apply it on sheer or build it up for a more “dramatic” look.
H&M Yellow Sweater: By now most of you have seen this sweater both on my blog and Instagram. So it’s no surprise that it’s in my fall edit for fashion. I am in love with the mustard yellow color, and the oversized fit makes it that much more comfy. It also is extremely warm which is perfect for when the weather keeps on dropping.
ASOS Black Peg Pants: Although I love a good pair of jeans, these black peg pants from ASOS are what I wear most days. They are extremely comfortable, but still give a dressier look to any outfit. I love wearing them with a sweater and some sneakers.
Glasses: I own a few pairs of non-prescription glasses from EyeBuyDirect, but they always come out to play more once fall hits. My favorite pair that I wear way too much is Anywhere. It adds a bit more to any outfit and helps frame my pale face.
Vans Slip On Sneakers: My go to shoes, besides my Adidas sneakers, are these Vans slip on sneakers in wine. Whenever I’m leaving the house and I’m not sure what shoes to wear, I slip these ones on and go. The color goes with most items in my wardrobe, and they are perfect for lots of walking.
Monki Beanie: Although I like baker boy hats and berets, my favorite will forever be a good beanie. This adorable one is from Monki last year, but I also have a few colored ones I love too.
Home Decor Magazines: During fall I love curling up with a good home decor magazine to get some inspiration. My two favorites are both from IKEA. The first is called “Find It! Part 3. Creating Space In Ten Small Homes”. It shows 10 different people’s small places all over the world and how they make it work. The second one is called “Make Yourself at Home”. This one shows you different people’s apartments and how they made them their own with a few DIY’s in between. They really give great inspiration.
The Body Shop British Rose Bath Bubbles: One of my top favorite scents is this British rose scent from The Body Shop. I own the perfume, but my favorite for fall is the bath bubbles. I love taking baths once it gets cold out and this makes it smell like a dream. Not to mention you’re never too old for bubbles in the bath.
Mini Pumpkins: My favorite way to add a bit of fall to my space is mini pumpkins. Trader Joe’s has inexpensive options that are too cute to pass up. I find a few on my shelfs and bedside table helps bring fall to my space.
Lots and Lots of Tea: And last but not least is lots and lots of teas. I love tea all year round, but like most things once it gets cold I drink it more and more. My favorite is Chamomile tea, and it really does make a day better.
And those are the items I’ll be using and loving for the rest of fall, and probably into winter. Let me know some of the beauty, fashion, or lifestyle items you can’t get enough of this fall!
