My favorite month has come to an end, but that just means that we are one month closer to my favorite holiday – Christmas! I had an amazing October filled with fall weather, birthdays, a mini trip, and lots and lots of sweaters. As always here is a monthly round-up of October with everything from Instagram, blog posts, to what I’ve been loving & an OOTD.

Instagram

A look at some of my favorite posts from my Instagram this past month, will all the cozy, fall vibes.

What I’ve Been Loving

Gibi ASMR: These past fews month I’ve stumbled upon the ASMR community on YouTube, and I love watching ASMR videos before going to bed. They’re a great way to relax and calm you down. Now I have a few favorites, but the channel I’ve been loving so much this month is Gibi ASMR. Her videos are so creative and there is always new content to watch.

Milk & Honey by Rupi Kaur: Now I’ve had this book for over a year, but for some reason it took me until this month to read through the whole thing. I’m not usually one for poetry, but this book is amazing. I’m excited to get her new book, and I would recommend giving this one a read if you haven’t already.

Journaling: This past month I’ve started journaling more. Now I keep a weekly/monthly planner, but I’ve started writing about my days and events that happen. I find it’s the perfect way to get things off my chest and relax me.

Personal

This month I turned 21 and I had such a lovely birthday. Each year that I get older I appreciate life more, the things I have, and my family. I also of course started thinking more about the future and where I’m going to go career wise. I’ve got a few ideas in mind, but I’ll leave those for me and the universe to sort out.

OOTD

I’ve recently taken my winter coats out of hibernation and this berry one has been a favorite of mine recently. It’s from ASOS last year, and it goes perfectly with an all black outfit like this one. 2 of my favorite sweaters are from H&M and they are the same one in different colors. The black one I’m wearing is one of them, and I love how it goes with anything I put on. My go-to high waisted black jeans are from the Gap. And my new favorite pairing is the coat with my wine slip-on Vans. I’ve also loved using tote bags, especially on days when I’m going out food shopping. This tie dye one is from IKEA and the colors are my favorite.

And that is October! Now let the countdown to December begin.

I really love these berry/burgundy shades on you girl! I’m also totally into ASMR on youtube! They really help you fall asleep and sometimes there’s some hilarious ones out there – like a few weeks back I saw ASMR for being at the gynecologist for an exam LOL. You won’t believe it but I think I took about a 20 minute pause because I also went to check out the link for Milk & Honey. This is such a popular book so I ended up adding it to my Christmas wishlist then ended up browsing some other books while at it :]. I also look forward to Christmas, however not so much new years…

Thank you Stacey! And I knew that the ASMR community on YouTube could be creative but I’ve never seen one like that before haha! I think the weirdest one I’ve seen is ASMR where you were kidnapped. You’ll have to let me know what you think of Milk & Honey! I want to get her new book for Christmas too. And I’m with you on looking forward to Christmas and not so much New Years. Its hard to believe this years almost over!
