The last month of 2017 has come to an end, and it’s been a crazy one. This month I’ve experienced so many emotions- excitement, joy, stress, shock, sadness, and everything in between. But overall it was a good end to a great year. So here is a reflection of the month as always, + an OOTD of one of my favorite layered outfits!
Due to the Christmas time a few less blog posts went up this month, but still a wide variety of ones to read!

YOUTUBE: This month on my YouTube channel I uploaded a few different videos. A lookbook with 3 of my go-to fall outfits, a little get to know me video of facts about me, a travel diary of my mountain trip, and a video version of my sleep tips post!
Winter time has come to my photos, and I have quite a few favorite posts on my Instagram!
Although I talked a lot about my bullet journal last year and love using them, I decided this year to get myself a planner. I saw this one on Ban.do and was instantly in love. There will be a full blog post review on it on the 2nd week in January, but it is filled with amazing artwork for the start of each month. Plus the overall design is extremely cute and functional.
This month I finished my last fall semester of college, since I hopefully will be graduating next spring. It was stressful at times, but overall I’m happy with how I did and excited for the future. I also took a mini mountain trip right in the middle of finals, which probably didn’t help with the stress. But it was an amazing trip that was needed at the time.
This month also had the joy and excitement of Christmas. Me and my family decorated the house, baked cookies, wrapped gifts, and sang some Christmas songs along the way. It overall was amazing, but for some reason this year it didn’t feel the same as previous. I was still thrilled for the time of year, but something felt off and in an odd way I feel subconsciously I knew something would happen. Sadly on Christmas Eve my grandma passed away. Even though she had dementia, it was a complete shock. It has taken some getting used to, but over time it has gotten easier. Nonetheless me and my family still managed to have a good Christmas, and I hope you did too!
One of the best dress purchases I ever made was this gray one from H&M. It’s a mock turtleneck and a very minimalist style, which makes it perfect for styling in different ways. I personally love layering a sweater over it for the colder months. This navy blue sweater is also from H&M and surprisingly very warm. Of course with the weather this time of year you can’t go out without tights, and these Franco Sarto gray loafers are my go-to for darker outfits. And a classic red lip with my favorite NYX matte liquid lipstick is perfect for winter.
And that is a round up of December! I still can’t believe 2017 is pretty much over. I also wanted to say a massive thank you for all of your support this year! Every blog read, Instagram & Twitter like and comment, video watched, and everything in between means the world to me and I can never thank you enough. Hopefully you’ll stick around for much more to come in 2018!
