Who I Am As A Blogger

I’ve been blogging for over a year now, and it’s been the best decision I’ve ever made. If you would of told me years ago I would have this small space on the Internet that I do now, I probably would of laughed. It’s been a crazy fun adventure, and I couldn’t imagine doing anything else. I thought I would share with you who I am as a blogger, what my overall goal and intentions are for my blog, and just a bit more about why I blog in general.

Who I Am As A Blogger

I don’t consider myself so much as an influencer as I do a content creator. I create content (photos, blog posts, videos, etc) and share them with all of you in the hopes that you’ll love it as much as I do, and that it will either help and inspire you, or it brings you some joy. I’m always open and love when you all share suggestions of what you’d like me to create or share, because after all I create not only for me but for you too! I’ll always put my own spin on it, of course.

I’m a firm believer in being as honest and open as possible, both on my blog and social media. There will always be things in my life you’ll never see, but I try to share as much as I can. I also only share more of the good things, and that’s because I want my blog, social media accounts, and YouTube to be a place where you can come for inspiration, positivity, and hopefully some entertainment and happiness. Just like everyone else I have days where I worry, I’m stressed, I cry and everything goes wrong, but it’s been my goal to try to look at the positive in life. Now that doesn’t mean I’ll never talk about those things occasionally, especially in my monthly round-up posts and on Instagram. It just will never be the focus of what I create.

My Goals For My Blog

With blogging I’ve made it my core goal that I only share things with you that I love and genuinely use, as well as brands/company’s that interest me or I love. I make sure that everything I create benefits you, my readers.

After blogging for a year I realized that I’d love to take this hobby and hopefully turn it into a business of sorts. Now I’m not saying my blog will become a business, but something that is born from me blogging. As I said in my 2018 goal blog post, I have a few business ideas for this year that are still in the early stages. But both ideas are for products/services that hopefully you’ll love and benefit from just as much as I’ll love creating it. As someone who never likes to jinx anything, that’s all I’ll say for now. But if all goes to plan, let’s just say every night I go to bed so excited to share it with all of you.

I hope to be blogging and running my own business(es) for years to come, and I’m so happy to be able to share it with all of you. I’m forever grateful and blessed for every blog read, comment, or the love for what I create. It all makes it so worth it, and I could never thank you enough.

Hopefully you’ll stay around for the years to come, and I can’t wait to continue making content that you’ll hopefully continue to love!

I seriously love how open you were in this post! I think we all get lost at some point in our blogging journey and don’t know exactly where we’re going with it, but that’s actually the beauty of it. I think there’s nothing wrong with turning your blog into a business as long as you stay true to yourself – again this is where some bloggers can lose themselves again especially when money gets involved. I don’t see that being a problem with you so I look forward to seeing how you keep up with your blog! Btw, I’m still loving this outfit of yours along with the scarf. I tried out the scarf look on myself, and unfortunately my neck is so short so it’s not as cute as when you wear yours hahah!

I’m so glad you liked it Stacey! I definitely agree that getting lost at some point in blogging is the beauty of it. It’s happened to me quite a few times but each time it makes me love blogging more. And thank you so much for your kind words with turning my blog into a business! Also I’m sure the scarf looked cute on you! x
