How on earth is it almost April?! I swear each month just goes by quicker and quicker. This month has been a mix of spring and winter, sweaters and dresses, city and beach. As always with the end of every month here is a round up of March, but with a little twist! Keep reading to see a new wardrobe purchase that I’m in love with, a week in photos, and more.
Although you might not have noticed, I was in a bit of a blogging rut this month. Looking back now I love the posts I created, but it was a bit hard coming up with ideas at first. Here is a look at the posts from March:
Tips For Developing Your Home Decor Style: As a home decor lover this was one of my favorite posts to create!
This is where I usually share my favorite Instagram photos, but I thought I would try something different for this month. Here is a look at some photos I took with my iPhone from the past two weeks (I came up with this half way through the month).
Tip: If you are reading this on your phone, turn it sideways so you will see two photos next to each other. This will help you scroll less but still see it all.
I discovered a new travel magazine I love while at the hairdressers.
What you don’t see in my blog photos in my room, is that there is always this little one sleeping.
I added this new circle mirror to my space this month, and I never realized how empty the space was before.
A new corner in my room, because I always need a reason to buy new home decor.
One of my favorite photos from my trip to the beach this month.
It’s slowly starting to feel more like spring at the end of the month, and the sunshine is much appreciated.
A look at where I took the photos of the outfit in this post. This is actually a museum near where I live.
A look at my workspace from yesterday (the 27th). There’s nothing better than being surrounded by plants.
Huji Film App
When scrolling through the photos above you probably noticed the one with the light flares, and that’s because I used this app to take/edit it. This style of photo has been going around social media a lot, and I wanted to give the app a try. It is a disposable film camera app that gives a film vibe to your photos. I paid the extra 99 cents to be able to import photos to add the film effect, and I’ve been loving playing around with it. It’s an affordable option to getting a film look without the price.
This month was a bit of a rollercoaster one. College has continued to get more busy, but during spring break I had a wonderful break at the beach. It was a much needed getaway that made me fall in love with the beach again. But after that trip for some reason I just felt very down. I had a week where I wasn’t motivated, or overly happy with anything. Luckily that came and went, but I think it’s important to remember no matter how positive you are, bad days will always come.
I’ve also been finding it a little hard to balance in college, work, content creating, and working towards my future goals. I feel by the end of the day I have no energy left to be working towards what I will be doing after college. I plan on making it a priority in April to figure out how to balance all of these, and if I do I’ll be sure to share my tips.
I treated myself to a new wardrobe item this month: this gorgeous blazer from H&M. I love how you can take a pair of jeans, t-shirt, and sneakers and add a blazer on top for a put together look. This will be a staple in my wardrobe for years to come, and I plan to somehow wear it in spring too. To style it I went with a olive Uniqlo button down blouse, my go-to ASOS Farleigh jeans, and Old Skool Vans.
Lipstick: Glossier Generation G in Jam
And that is a look at March! I hope you enjoyed the extra photos from my month, as I plan to hopefully add that to every monthly round up from now on.
