Positivity Project: Little Things That Have Made Me Happy Recently

One of my favorite things in life is the little things. After all life is just a bunch of little things put together to make one big thing. It’s been a busy month for me, and I’m sure it has been for you too. It can be hard to not get too stressed and overwhelmed, but one way I cope is to focus on the little things that make me happy. This helps remind me that there is so much more to life than just what I’m stressed about, and there is beauty all around us. So here is a list of the little things that have made me happy recently, which I hope inspires you to focus on the little things too!

Being in nature, surrounded by trees with the birds chirping.

Dogs. I always get so happy when I see one, and I can’t help myself from stopping mid conversation to point one out.

Afternoon and evening walks with my dog. I always love seeing how happy she is at every little thing.

Cozy days curled up in a chair with a cup of tea and a good book.

Dusk time. I love how moody it feels and it’s right before my part of the world says goodnight.

Slow living. I’ve added it into my life (which you can read about here if you want), and it’s been such a positive change.

Throwback music. I’ve recently started listening to songs I used to listen to all the way back in middle school (I feel so old), and I just love how happy and uplifting they are.

IKEA inspiration blog page. It helps stop me from buying more home decor while still being inspired. Although I could spend all day scrolling through them.

Days spent with my mom. One of the best things about my mom also being my best friend is she’s always there.

Connecting with all of you on here and through social media. It always amazes me and warms my heart at how lovely and creative everyone is.

And those are the little things that have made me happy! I’d love to know what has made you happy recently!
