This past Thursday I went on a little trip to Greenville, South Carolina with my family. We usually always go to Charleston, which is one of my favorite cities, but we decided to try somewhere different this time and I’m so glad we did. Like with all of my trips I took tons of photos, so here is a little photo diary of my trip + a look at Greenville!
The place I stayed at was my home decor dream! Everything was mid-century modern, with subtle pops of colors and an overall cozy vibe. The only downside is that whenever I love a place’s home decor, I always want to go home and redo mine.
I spent the two mornings I was there curled up on the couch reading.
This old dictionary reminds me of something from Harry Potter, and someday when I have a library in my house I’m going to have to buy a similar one.
On the first day of the trip me and my family spent most of it exploring downtown Greenville. Main street was filled with adorable colored buildings and lots of food and shopping.
I talked about this over on Instagram, but I came to the decision that my house in the future will either be red or blue because I always love seeing buildings or homes in those colors.
I wore my favorite polka dot midi dress, which more photos of it will be in a blog post coming next week!
We then ventured over to Falls Park on the Reedy, which is this beautiful park in the middle of downtown with waterfalls and tons of walking trails.
On the day I was leaving, me and my family spent a little bit more time exploring the park before the drive home.
And that is a look at my small trip to Greenville in photos! It’s a great place to visit for a small weekend trip, and I definitely hope to visit it again.
Have you ever been to Greenville? If not, what’s your favorite place to go for a weekend getaway?
