Fall weather is slowly coming, so it’s no surprise I’ve been doing some fall shopping recently. It’s my favorite season for clothing, which does mean I tend to buy a bit too much. Most of the clothing items I have bought for fall this year will be sold out by the time I can wear and post them on my blog. So I thought I would share the item’s I’ll be wearing + the styles I’ll be loving this fall!
Color has become a huge part of my wardrobe this summer, and it will continue to be in the fall! The color’s I’ve been loving and looking for when shopping are grays, darker blues and navy, rust and oranges, dark greens, and red.
Colored Socks With Dresses
This is something I have always loved the look of and I’m so excited to be able to wear it more this year. I love wearing a neutral dress and having a pop of color with my socks.
Polka dots were everywhere for spring and summer, and I’ll still be wearing them in the fall. Since it’s a classic pattern that I won’t dislike in a few years, I have been more open to adding it to my wardrobe.
Comfort And Layers
These are staples in my fall wardrobe every year, but comfort is always key. If something is not comfortable and I can’t move around easily in it, it won’t be in my wardrobe. And you can never go wrong with layers.
ASOS Rust Colored Sweater Dress
One of the few things that were missing from my fall/winter wardrobe were dresses. Even when it’s cold out I still love wearing dresses with tights and cardigans or coats. This rust colored sweater dress from ASOS is one I’ve had my eye on since last year, and when I saw it was on sale I was extremely happy. The rust color is beautiful and perfect for fall, plus it’s so comfortable.
Monki Black & White Polka Dot Dress
This is another dress I got on sale on ASOS, and I couldn’t stop myself from wearing it now. The snapped button back is a great detail, and I plan on styling this with a sweater layered on top when it gets colder out.
Gray Uniqlo Sweater Dress
I wasn’t originally looking for dresses on Uniqlo, but when I saw this one was only $20 I knew it was a match made in heaven! It comes in a lot of different colors, but I went for the dark gray one since I don’t have many items in my fall wardrobe that color. It’s a little more fitted than the other sweater dress, but it still has plenty of room for eating and moving around!
Uniqlo’s coatigans are possibly my favorite item of theirs! It’s the perfect mix between a coat and a cardigan. I have last year’s one that is in a beautiful speckled green color, and I decided to get this year’s one in dark gray. Although you definitely can’t wear them without long sleeves since the wool in them is really itchy, they’re perfect for the in-between season where it’s not cold enough for a coat or warm enough to go without one.
H&M Striped Sweater
H&M is my favorite store to buy sweaters, and this striped sweater might be my favorite one I’ve ever bought from there! It was only $20 and the colors in it are perfect for fall.
When I went shopping in DSW I originally was planning to buy boots, but when I saw these two-toned oxfords I was in love. Oxfords and loafers are my favorite kind of shoes, although I usually only wear ones that aren’t tied. This pair will actually be a birthday present, but once that comes I’ll be wearing them non stop!
Blue ASOS Scarf
I originally wasn’t going to get a new scarf this year since I love the few neutral ones I have, but when shopping on ASOS this blue one caught my eye. Blue is my favorite color and I think this will be my go-to for a pop of color when wearing a neutral outfit.

And those are the styles and items I’ll be loving and wearing this fall! Hopefully, I can contain my love for fall fashion and not buy anything else. But I’m so excited to start sharing fall outfits on here soon, and I’d love to know what you’re most excited to wear this fall!
