The shortest month of the year is over and it’s crazy to think we have almost completed one quarter of 2019! It has been a month filled with gloomy weather and learning to balance a lot of new things. This month flew by, so here is a round-up with everything from my new favorite pair of jeans, what I’ve learned, + this outfit with an adorable sweatshirt and more!
This month I shared everything from my current favorite books to a few blogging tips posts + more!
My Current Skincare Routine: A look at the cruelty-free skincare products I use every day!
Book Recommendations #5: After many months there is finally a new book recommendations post!
My Favorite Songs To Wake Up To: A look at the songs I love to listen to in the mornings that put me in the best mood.
I’m not someone who usually plays many games on my phone, but if I do it is almost always a word game. Wordscape is one I discovered this month and I’ve started playing it almost every night. It’s a mix between crossword and word search/scrabble, which makes me feel a little less bad for playing it so much.
American Eagle High Waisted Jeans
Finding the perfect fitting pair of jeans has always been a challenge for me, but I think I’ve finally found them! This past month I decided to go on a hunt for a good fitting pair of jeans, and it was a surprise to me when American Eagle had a pair I loved! Their high waisted jeans are amazing. They fit my body really well and they are comfortable + really easy to move in.
Having an exercise routine is not only good for the body, but it is also good for your mind.
Your health is the most important thing. Taking days of rest is needed, especially around this time of year.
No matter how challenging something is, if you want it you should never give up. The time will pass anyway.
The biggest mistake you can make in life is not making any mistakes. It’s the only way you truly can learn and grow.
All you can do is laugh when things go wrong and go with the new normal.
You can only balance so much in life. At some point, you have to sit down and prioritize and let go of what no longer serves you.
This month was filled with many rainy days, which meant most of the outfits I wore were all about comfort. If you follow me on Instagram you’ll know that I have an 11-year-old Bichon Frise, and when I was on Uniqlo’s website I saw this sweatshirt with a dog that looks almost exactly like her! This sweatshirt has become my go-to for days when I’m staying at home, and these grid pants from Monki are the best pair of pants I’ve ever bought.
And that is a roundup of February! I hope you had a great month and I’d love to know one thing you loved this month!
