For the past almost three weeks I’ve been traveling on the west coast to different national parks, which is why I have been a bit absent on here. Every summer for the last 5 years, my family and I take a trip together. It is almost always to national parks since we all love hiking, and this year we managed to go to four different ones. It was honestly one of the best trips I have ever been on, and since I love taking photos I thought I would share all my favorite ones from my trip in two posts! So grab a cup of tea or coffee, and here is a look at Yosemite + Crater Lake National Park.
The first stop on my trip was Yosemite National Park. It was a bit crowded, but I highly recommend visiting if you haven’t. A lot of the main, popular sites can be seen really easily. And it’s filled with some of the most beautiful waterfalls.
In between Yosemite and Crater Lake, I spent a night in a cute little cabin at Lake Tahoe. It was really beautiful there and it’s definitely a place I would love to go back to.
The next stop on my trip was to Crater Lake in Oregon, which might just be the most beautiful lake I’ve ever seen. Sadly most of the park was closed due to the snow, but it was still lovely to be in a winter wonderland in June.
I stayed in a cute little cottage just outside the park that was surrounded by lots of farms and cows.
On my last day there, it was a bit too crowded to get into the park, so we hiked to the Toketee Falls.
And that is all the photos from the first part of my trip! I highly recommend taking the time to visit national parks if you can. There is nothing more calming and magical than exploring the beautiful world we live in. I will be sharing the second part in two weeks, which honestly has some of my favorite photos I’ve ever taken it in. You can also see more photos on my Instagram!
